Baptism over, ready for next game

Alonzo Whaley

Talk about a baptism by fire. Not knowing exactly what kind of offense you are going to see. Not expected to be the starter until the expected starter, Will Compton, went down. Not having a snap in an actual game. And there you are, having to make most of the defensive calls. It was hectic, perhaps sometimes frantic. But sophomore Alonzo Whaley got through it and is now moving on.
