Chicago, IL - Big Ten Media Days start in nearly and hour, but the media was already filled in this morning on who has made the conference's Watch List.
To no surprise, Nebraska defensive tackle Jared Crick and linebacker Lavonte David both appear on the Leaders side.
Crick, a senior, is 10.5 sacks away from setting the all-time Nebraska career record. A 2nd team All-American a year ago, Crick is a favorite to win the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year award.
In David's 1st year at Nebraska last season, the junior college transfer had a team high 152 tackles, setting a Nebraska single season record.
Crick and David are in Chicago today and tomorrow for Big Ten Media Days, along with head coach Bo Pelini and junior I-back Rex Burkhead. Coverage of the event will begin at 10 a.m. (Central) on both ESPNU and the Big Ten Network. Pelini’s press conference is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
