Lincoln, NE - One solid defense down, another to go for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. After facing a tough Penn State defense last week, the Huskers' offense will equally challenged in Ann Arbor.

“They’re physical, like all the teams are. Mike Martin is a terrific defensive lineman. It’s going to be a great challenge for our offensive line,” Nebraska offensive coordinator Tim Beck told reporters on Tuesday. “They’re very well coached. They have a good scheme. It’s going to be another tough challenge for us, no question about it. They’re a good red zone defense. They keep you out of the end zone. We’ve got to come to play. We’ve got to hold onto the football and get turnovers. That’s going to be key to the ball game.”

Heading into the Wisconsin game, fans and media alike wanted to make it a matchup of the quarterbacks – Nebraska's Taylor Martinez versus Wisconsin's Russell Wilson.

Wilson won that week, but since Martinez has been solid – classified lately as a great game manager.

“He’s learning the system week by week. He’s really playing well,” Beck said. “I’m really pleased with him. I’m proud of him with the way he’s been running our offense. He’s doing the things we asked him to do and above and beyond. He’s doing a lot of little things too. And he’s been unselfish and I’m proud of him for that. He’s been playing really, really well and I think part of it is being more comfortable in the system. We constantly communicate. If there’s things he doesn’t like, I’m not going to run them. I want to do things he feels good about.”
