Ross Dzuris is a 6-foot-3 and 235-pound tight end, H-Back and also a defensive end recruit from Plattsmouth (Nebr.). Recently Dzuris picked up a couple of offers.
“He picked up a couple of recent offers,” Mr. Dzuris said. “North Dakota has offered Ross as a tight end or an H-Back and he also has an offer from Northwest Missouri State.”
An offer of sorts has been on the table now for a while for Dzuris. Ross received confirmation that the offer in Lincoln still stands just about a month ago on an unofficial visit according to Ross’s father.
“Ross visited Nebraska for the Ohio State game as an unofficial visitor. Coach Barney Cotton reiterated to Ross on his visit that the offer to walk-on was still open.”
Dzuris was asked to walk-on at Nebraska as a result of a strong performance at summer camp. Dzuris had the chance to meet with the recruiting coach and a position coach when offered the opportunity.
“At the end of the camp Coach Barney Cotton told Bo that Ross was one of the top pass rushers at the camp. Coach Vince Marrow told Bo that Ross was one of the top tight ends at the camp as well. Bo gave us about 20-30 minutes of his time and asked Ross if he would consider walking on."
