from Tempe (Ariz.) Corona Del Sol had a great opportunity to play among some of the nation's best players in the Semper Fidelis All-American game earlier this week. Moss said it was an amazing experience.
"It was great," Moss said. "It was one of those top 10 things that you do in your life that not everyone has a chance to do. It was the experience of the lifetime."
Moss told BigRedReport.com earlier in the week that it was down to Purdue and Nebraska and that both schools knew which way he was going. How does Moss feel to have his commitment over with?
"It's a relief to have it over with. I can concentrate on school, basketball and getting things back to normal again."
It was a combination of things for Moss as to why he chose the Huskers. It starts with the recruiting coach and his relationship, what his parents thought about the coach and an unbelievable official visit that he took to Lincoln.
"It was a great fit for me and Nebraska. First off, Coach John Papuchis and I just clicked and my parents loved him when they had a chance to meet him.
"My experience on the visit was amazing. The fans there are second to none. It's really just something that was a great fit for me for a number of reasons."
Nebraska picked up two commitments the other night at the Semper Fidelis All-American game. It's clear that the last half of the 2012 recruiting class for Nebraska will be defense heavy and both of the commitments that night play on the defensive side of the ball. Here's what Avery Moss had to say about the game, the relief of committing and why he chose Nebraska.
