According a report published by the Omaha World Herald, new Nebraska defensive coordinator John Papuchis will make $300,000 next season, a $100,000 raise from last season when the 33-year old was the Huskers defensive line coach.
Papuchis’ replacement Rick Kaczenski will make $195,000, nearly $15,000 more than he made on the Iowa Hawkeyes staff last year.
The Omaha World Herald is also reporting that other assistants will be receiving bumps as well.
Running Backs Coach Ron Brown: $220,000 to $240,000
Linebackers Coach/Special Teams Coordinator: Ross Els: $170,000 to $220,000
Wide Receivers Coach Rich Fisher: $160,000 to $180,000
Assistant Offensive Line Coach John Garrison: $140,000 to $160,000
Offensive Line Coach Barney Cotton: $220,000 to $240,000.
