Nebraska has paid the $350,000 new men's basketball coach Tim Miles owed Colorado State for breaking his contract with the Rams.

NU associate athletic director Marc Boehm confirmed the payment Friday. Miles' contract at CSU required the $350,000 buyout if he left before June 30.

Miles had signed a three-year contract extension with the Rams last spring. Nebraska hired him last week.

Boehm said Miles' contract at Nebraska could be finished within two weeks.
