Former Nebraska head coach Doc Sadler appears to have found a new gig.

According to the Journal-World, former Nebraska head coach Doc Sadler will join the Kansas Staff as the Director of Basketball Operations. Sadler is longtime friends with Kansas head coach Bill Self.

Sadler was 101-89 during his time with Nebraska, but the Huskers 12-18 record in their inaugural season in the Big Ten cost him his job this last March.

Sadler is the only Nebraska head coach to win at least 17 games in his first three seasons in Lincoln. All three years Nebraska was picked to finish ninth or lower in their conference.

The 52-year old is supposed to be paid $3.4 million over the next four seasons from Nebraska.
