In a couple of weeks, four-star linebacker Danny Mattingly (Mead HS) will be visiting the University of Nebraska.
The Washington native, who has picked up over a dozen Division I offers, is looking forward to seeing the football-crazed town of Lincoln.
“I can’t wait to see what the town is like and to get to see the program,” explained Mattingly. “I know their football is huge and they don’t have a pro team to compete with.”
In addition, Mattingly has heard some good things from some fellow high school prospects at camps around the country regarding the Cornhuskers’ personnel.
“I hear the players and coaches are awesome,” added the 6-foot-6, 225-pound recruit.
While Nebraska is on his schedule of upcoming visits, he will be visiting Notre Dame this Tuesday and then Oklahoma later in the week.
