Nebraska will wear alternate uniforms against Wisconsin - an act that is likely to create debate among Husker nation.

The University of Nebraska and adidas today announced plans for the Huskers to wear alternate uniforms on Sept. 29th against Wisconsin.

While the move will excite some and upset others because of Nebraska's long standing traditional uniforms, Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini thinks there are definite positives.

"I think it could be a good recruiting tool," said Pelini at Big Ten Media Days on Friday. "There will be people who hate it, especially here...it's why I wanted no part in the decision.

"It doesn't really matter to me one way or the other...it will be an interesting reaction. It always is."
