UTSA in Heavy Contact with 2014 QB

UTSA staff is always on the hunt for talent. Rarely, however, are recruits contacted on a daily basis. But this is the case for this quarterback out of the Houston area. InsideRunnerSports has confirmed this 2014 prospect will be in attending UTSA's Junior Day on Feb 16.

Georgia, Baylor, Nebraska, Texas State and Houston have all shown Clear Creek quarterback Jarrett Hildreth attention over the last few months. But no school has been in more contact than utsa.

"They've (UTSA) been in contact every day," said Hildreth. "UTSA is a really nice school. I'm really considering them right now but at I'm still weighing my options."

In addition to athletics and academics, Hildreth wants to ensure he will feel comfortable at the place he chooses. "The thing that is important to me is that I am looking for a place to live," said Hildreth. "Wherever I choose, that will be a place where I will be living for the next 4 years. So I'm just looking for somewhere nice."

Hildreth is a prototypical division 1 quarterback. Standing at 6'3" and weighing 197 lbs, Hildreth has a good frame and stature.

"I can scan the field really well," said Hildreth. "I rarely miss open receivers. I can see really well and I feel like I make good decisions. I also have the arm strength to make those throws. "

Hildreth racked up 2937 passing yards and 22 touchdowns in 2012.

Last summer he camped with Houston, Texas Tech, and TCU. In addition to the UTSA Camp, Hildreth will attend the Texas State camp on Sunday, Feb. 17 and is looking at making a trip to Georgia and Houston in the future.
