It may be one of the toughest stretches of the schedule, but just an ordinary night in the Big Ten Conference. For the first time as members as the Big Ten, Nebraska head coach Tim Miles and crew travel to Bloomington, Indiana, where they will take on Tom Crean's, No. 1 Hoosiers. A few days later it will be Tom Izzo's No. 8 Spartans making he trip to Lincoln.
HUSKERS SET TO FACE OFF WITH NATIONS BEST
No matter the disparity between teams, there is usually at least one weakness that a team can expose, even for a top ranked team. Unfortunately, Indiana is not one of those teams. With one of the best starting line ups in the country, the Hoosiers present a problem with any team that they play.
"Indiana is a phenomenal team," said Miles. "They have immense talent, and we have to be able to control the tempo."
With Indiana being the top ranked team in the country, it's hard to believe that they may not even be the best team in the conference. Izzo brings in his No. 8 Spartans coming off a dominating performance against the No. 4 Michigan Wolverines. Michigan State may be playing at the highest level of any team in the conference and the country.
The Huskers take on Indiana, in Bloomington on Wednesday night, and take on the Spartans Saturday night at the Devaney Center.
LINCOLN, Neb - Coming off a win against Penn State on Saturday night, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are back at it this week with match-ups against the top ranked Indiana Hoosiers (21-3, 9-2), and the No. 8 Michigan State Spartans (20-4, 9-2).
