Bryan checks out Nebraska
There are always guys that pop up on big recruiting weekends that you didn't know about going in. At the Nebraska spring game Taven Bryan from Casper (Wyo.) Natrona County was one of those guys. "I got there yesterday at about 4:00," Bryan said. "I took a quick visit around the facilities, grabbed something to eat and then talked with the staff for a while." Bryan said that this was his time to experience a game in Lincoln. He came away impressed with the fans for Nebraska as well as the team and how close they are. "That was my first game in Lincoln The fans are just phenomenal. The team is great. They have a very close knit group." The 6-foot-5 and 250-pound Bryan is an interesting prospect. It looks like he would have the frame to add size to play offensive line. He also could remain his current size and along with his great athleticism could play other positions. Nebraska isn't sure where they like him the most. "Nebraska likes me either as an offensive lineman, a defensive end or possibly a tight end. I really don't care where I play. I will play whatever position gets me on the field." There are four offers on the table already for Bryan. Other than Nebraska he says that he is going to be taking some other visits very shortly. "I have offers already from Washington, Washington State, Colorado State and Wyoming. I am going to be taking a trip to Oklahoma, then a trip to Washington and I am going to try and head down to Oregon because they want me to visit." Bryan says that there wasn't a lot of talk from Nebraska about when they might offer. He did say that Nebraska was coming out to see him later this spring though. "Nebraska really hasn't said anything to me about offering or how close they might be. Their coaches told me that they would be out to see me this spring at my school."
