Nebraska loses 1,782 yards from last season and 14 touchdowns - nearly 27 percent of their offense. Who makes up for it in 2013?

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Nebraska Cornhuskers accumulated over 6,451 yards in 2012 – nearly 460.8 a game.

With expectations sky high for the offense in 2013, those numbers could grow this fall. While most of the offensive returns, including quarterback Taylor Martinez, the Huskers lose 27 percent of their offense from last season.

The numbers:

So the question instantly becomes, who will make up for the lost offense?

Veterans like running back Ameer Abdullah (226 attempts, 1137 yards) and wide receiver Kenny Bell (50 catches, 863 yards) should see their numbers slightly go up, but it's more likely players like running back Imani Cross (55 attempts, 329 yards) and wide receiver Jamal Turner (32 catches, 417 yards) see a bump in their production. Or what about newcomers like running backs Adam Taylor and Terrell Newby, who don't expect to redshirt year one.
