Huskers get No. 7 locally

Posted Jun 15, 2013

The Huskers 7th commitment came from Gretna's Mick Stoltenberg.

Nebraska's 7th commitment in the 2014 class came locally on Saturday, when Grenta's Mick Stoltenberg picked the Huskers.

Stoltenberg will likely play offensive line at Nebraska, despite never playing the position before. He did tell Big Red Report in previous interviews he will play both offense and defense in 2013.

"I committed to Nebraska," Stoltenberg said in a text to Big Red Report. "I will call you after Big Red Weekend."

Stoltenberg picked Nebraska over offers from Tulsa and South Dakota State, but has been prospect who's been on the rise since April.

The video below was taken with Stoltenberg in early May.
