Strengths: Biggs was one of the first prospects head coach Tim Miles brought in when he came to Nebraska. The redshirt junior, who played his last two seasons at Seward County Community College, is an electrifying point guard who is sure to lead the Huskers in a more up-tempo offense. One of the things the Omaha native does just as good or better than anyone on the team is create. And while he isn’t necessarily a guy who will score at a rapid rate, Biggs will make opportunities for his teammates. With his quickness and ball handling ability he is able to penetrate defense and kick the ball out to open teammates.
Weaknesses: One mystery about Biggs is if he will be able to score at the Big Ten level. Standing at just 6-foot, getting a shot up will be much more difficult against Big Ten players then it was against community college players. If Biggs is able to develop a jump shot, he could become one of the most electrifying point guards in the Big Ten in an up-tempo offense.
2011-12 Look back: Playing at Seward Community College, Biggs was able to tear up the competition with his speed and ball handling - averaging 14.6 ppg., 3.1 apg., and 3.3 spg. His efforts earned him junior college All-American honors.
2013-14 Outlook: With many thinking that incoming freshman Tai Webster will see more time at the shooting guard position this season, the point guard position could be Biggs to lose.
