Chicago, IL - Nebraska
fullback Mike Marrow
will no longer be part of the team. Bo Pelini
announced the news at Big Ten Media Days on Wednesday.
Pelini says it was a decision made by the Marrow family.
Entering what would have been his senior year, Marrow looked to be behind Andy Janovich and C.J. Zimmerer on the depth chart.
Marrow, who's career has been a confusing one with his transfers, saw his father, Mike Marrow, leave Bo Pelini's staff this offseason and take a job with Kentucky as their tight end's coach.
It's unclear if Marrow will be looking to transfer to a lower division school.
Rated a three-star prospect out of his high school, Marrow started his career at Alabama, before transferring to Western Michigan, and then eventually Nebraska.
On Wednesday, Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini announced Mike Marrow would no longer be part of the team.
