Dixon likely headed to JUCO

Trevell Dixon

Nebraska signee Trevell Dixon appears to be headed to junior college.

Nebraska signee Trevell Dixon, who was the Huskers last commitment in the 2013 class, will likely be heading to junior college. Bo Pelini confirmed the news on Wednesday at Big Ten Media Days.

"We are trying to help him look," said Pelini, who was also asked if they will continue to watch the Louisiana product. "Oh, yeah."

Rated the No. 81 safety out of high school, Dixon was an effective dual-threat quarterback in high school.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound prospect picked Nebraska over Arizona State, TCU, Texas Tech, and Southern Miss.
