LINCOLN, Neb. - The Cornhuskers hit the practice field for the first time this season on Monday night.

While the media was not allowed to attend or show up after for interviews, this didn't include former player and color commentator for the Huskers Sports Network, Matt Davison.

The former wide receiver fired a few tweets off about what he saw on the first day.

Davison was also asked to give his evaluation of the freshman running back.

Along with Davison, a few other Tweeters took a few seconds after practice to give Nebraska fans an update. Recommended Stories
