Michigan is still actively building its 2015 offensive target list, and one name that could rise in…
2015 OT checks out Nebraska
Jon Dietzen, from Seymour (Wisc.), is widely considered to be one of the premier junior, offensive lineman in the nation. The 6-foot-5 and 305-pound Dietzen made his way to see Nebraska this weekend after checking out the Huskers in the summer. "I was here for Big Red Weekend back in June," Dietzen said following the game. "This was my first time here since then and my first game in Lincoln though. "Me and a couple of the recruits went into the locker room with the team before the game and came out the tunnel before the team. Their fans are die-hard." This visit gave Dietzen a chance to see the Nebraska offense up close. The Nebraska staff has told Dietzen that they could see him working in at either tackle spot or at any one of the two guard positions as well. "All of the coaches at Nebraska are genuine people. I think that I would be a great fit for the offense at Nebraska and Coach Barney Cotton said I could play either tackle or guard positions which gives me the best chance to see the field." The purpose of this visit for Dietzen was to see what the gameday atmosphere was like at Nebraska. The Huskers did lose the game, but Dietzen came away impressed with the gameday environment. "The game and my visit was exciting from the very start," Dietzen said. "It's great to finally see what all of the hype is about surrounding game days in Lincoln. It gets very loud there in the stadium." There are no more plans for the 2015 offensive tackle, but he did say that his junior season is over with. He would like to start taking some trips to see the schools that he does have interest in now. "No other plans are set for me at the moment. Since my junior season is over though I would like to start making some plans to get out and see some schools over the next couple of months to break up just training."
