Appearing as a keynote speaker to the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday night, Nebraska head basketball coach Tim Miles says any rumors of him leaving are just that – rumors.

"I'm not going anywhere," Miles said according to the Columbus Telegram. "I'm a Husker coach, just to get that straight.

"I want to win and I want to win a lot. I want to be the first guy to ever lead the Huskers to the NCAA tournament and win games."

Miles name being mentioned for openings around the country is better than the alternative, but has left some Husker fans worrying about the coaches' possible future in Lincoln.

In just his second season with Nebraska, Miles took the Huskers to the NCAA tournament, finishing with a 19-13 record and a fourth place finish in the Big Ten standings. His efforts earned him co-Big Ten Coach of the Year.

According to the USA Today, Miles' annual salary in 2013-14 was a little over $1.5 million, good for No. 30 in the country – a salary likely to rise as demand increases.
