  • Thursday (5/29) offer watch - Josh Harvey

    Nebraska has extended a scholarship offer to three-star 2015 offensive tackle Josh Jones.

    Jones is the nation's No. 53 offensive tackle in the country by Scout.com. His other offers include: Houston, Memphis, North Texas, TCU, and Texas Tech.

  • Scout.com recruiting rankings check - Josh Harvey

    With 11 commits in the 2015 class, the Huskers sit No. 12 in the latest Scout.com team recruiting rankings. The Huskers are currently No. 2 in the Big Ten behind Penn State, who is No. 2 overall.

    One thing to note is Nebraska is not seeing any benefits currently from Omaha Central defensive end DaiShon Neal, who is still unranked by Scout.com, but expected to be a three-star prospect down the road.

    Nebraska average level of recruit is currently 3.30, up from a 3.04 in last year's recruiting class.

  • Nebraska loses out to UNLV - Josh Harvey

    As expected, Louisiana prep shooting guard Jordan Cornish picked UNLV over Nebraska and Wake Forest on Tuesday. The three-star prospect took an official visit to Lincoln last week.

    The Huskers could continue to fill their two opening scholarships, but it wouldn't be a surprise if they banked at least one for next year.

  • Scout.com West Coast analyst reports new Nebraska offer in Cali - Josh Harvey

    Per Brandon Huffman, Nebraska offered Westlake Village Oaks Christian offensive lineman Reno Rosene on Tuesday. The 2015 prospect is a three-star offensive tackle.

    Nebraska receiver Coach Rich Fisher has been no stranger at Westlake Village, offering multiple prospects in the last few years.

  • NU hits one of the best high schools in FL - Josh Harvey

    St. Thomas Aquinas high school in Florida is one of higher profile high schools in the country, so it shouldn't surprise Nebraska fans that on Monday the Huskers made an offer to a talented defensive back.

    The 2015 prospect has a long list of offers and sounds completely open in the process.

    "My recruitment is going good,"Arnette told Scout.com recently. "I don't have no top list, any leaders (or) no dates for any visits yet."

  • Stringfellow gets his release - Josh Harvey

    Washington receiver Damore'ea Stringfellow has officially been granted his release according to BRR sources. Nebraska remains the likely destination for the former four-star prep.

  • Tenn. OT targeted in 2015 class - Josh Harvey

    Three-star Nashville Christian high school (TN) offensive tackle Alex Givens was offered by Nebraska on Friday, as the Huskers look for more help upfront.

    Given's offer list is an impressive one and it's unknown at this time what the Nebraska offer means to the junior.

  • Beck finds 2017 QB - Josh Harvey

    Nebraska offensive coordinator Tim Beck has extra time on his hands after landing 2015 quarterback prospect Kevin Dillman before the summer. The extra time has allowed him to focus on 2016 and even 2017 quarterbacks.

    On Wednesday, his newest target was offered a scholarship.

  • Huskers offer GA 2016 DB - Josh Harvey

    Cherokee high school 2016 DB/RB Brittain Brown has earned his second offer of the week.

    Brown's highlights are mostly at the running back position, where he shows good vision, but there are some safety highlights sprinkled in. CLICK HERE

  • KS TE/DE picks up Nebraksa offer - Josh Harvey

    Olathe high school (KS) prep Josh Moore has seen Nebraska at his school multiple times during the evaluation process and on Tuesday, the Huskers offered.

  • Nebraska joins the mix for 2015 DFW OL - Josh Harvey

    It didn't take long for Nebraska to get around on Tuesday morning, throwing down an offer to a 2015 prospect in Dallas-Fort Worth.

  • Nebraska offers taller 2015 PA WR - Josh Harvey

    Charlie Fessler, of Erie Cathedral Prep received an offer from Nebraska on Monday. The Huskers are his first BCS offer, joining Ohio, Buffalo, Harvard, and Western Michigan to give him a scholarship nod.

    Fessler finished the 2013 season with 41 catches for 626 yards and six touchdown, helping the Ramblers go 13-1.

  • Cornish finally arrives - Josh Harvey

    A layover delay in Denver might have taken a few hours off of his trip, but Brother Martin high school (LA) shooting guard Jordan Cornish has finally arrived for his official visit in Lincoln. Cornish was delayed due to snow.

    Cornish will decide between Nebraska, Wake Forest, and UNLV in the near future. He still has to visit Vegas next week.

  • Beck visits 2014 signee - Josh Harvey

    The spring evaluation process is in full swing, which means the Nebraska coaches are on the road. While a coach can't visit a junior on Sunday, he can visit signees, which is exactly what happened on Sunday.

    Bush was the nation's No. 88 QB in last year's class, and was the second quarterback Nebraska took a commitment from after signing Zack Darlington in February.

  • Pinder to head to JUCO - Josh Harvey

    According to a report in the Omaha World Herald, Nebraska basketball commit Keanu Pinder will be heading to junior college. A former 2014 commit, Pinder has been playing at Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas.

    A native of Australia, Pinder's family has ties to Nebraska assistant Chris Harriman.

    Nebraska will continue to monitor Pinder.

  • Nebraska back in Alabama this week - Josh Harvey

    After offering Michael Jackson from Spain Park high school in Alabama last weekend, Nebraska offered defensive back teammate A.J. Smiley on Wednesday according to Scout.com's John Garcia.

  • Lee hints at a future possible commit - Josh Harvey

    Ever since four-star defensive back Eric Lee committed to Nebraska in early February, the Colorado high school product has become one of the Huskers biggest recruiting assets. On Tuesday, Lee dropped a surprise tweet about one of the Huskers current targets.

    Dale is a three-star safety from John Curtis high school in Louisiana, one of the top programs in the country. Last season, the junior recorded 67 tackles and 13 interceptions.

  • Bussey gets visitor's - Josh Harvey

    Isidore Newman high school (LA) running back Kendall Bussey might be a Nebraska commitment, but it hasn't stopped a slew of schools from offering him and visiting his school during the spring evaluation process.

    Bussey holds an offer from Arkansas, but not from Notre Dame. Nebraska is expected to visit the prospect's school again after seeing him a few weeks ago.

  • Deng Deng to Baylor - Josh Harvey

    After hosting junior college forward Deng Deng last weekend, Nebraska lost out on the Lee College product after he committed to Baylor on Sunday.

  • Jordan Cornish update... - Josh Harvey

    The former Vols signee has informed BigRedReport.com he will be visiting Wake Forest this weekend, Nebraska next, and SMU the following week. Shortly after, he will make his decision, but wants to visit all the schools on his list. UCLA has recently been eliminated.

  • Fourth known Maryland offer in two days - Josh Harvey

    Much like Biggins, Scout.com's Rachel Klein has been busy the last few days tracking Nebraska in the Maryland area. After making three known offers there yesterday, the Huskers made another one on Wednesday, although this time it was a bit south in Washington, D.C.

    The 2016 TE/DE has a decent offer list already with schools like Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Iowa, Illinois, and Maryland.

    Scout.com's Greg Biggins has had a busy couple of days tracking the Cornhuskers' efforts. Humphrey is a four-star linebacker and the nation's No. 18 prospect at the OLB position. Similar to Keisean Lucier-South, Humphrey has a large offer list.

  • Nebraska spending time in Alabama - Josh Harvey

    Over the recent years Nebraska hasn't spent much time in Alabama, but recently it seems like the Huskers recruiting efforts are picking up in the Yellowhammer State

    On Wednesday, Scout.com's John Garic reported the Huskers have offered 2014 four-star product John Broussard. The Huskers join a handful of other BCS level schools to offer the sophomore, including Georgia and South Carolina.

    The Nebraska staff put on a lot of miles last week and extended a number of offers. It's started early again this week with the Nebraska staff extending offers in a lot of different states to a lot of different positions to recruits in various classes.   • Nebrasketball will host JUCO forward - Josh Harvey

    With two scholarships left to fill in this year's class, it sounds like Tim Miles and Nebraska will host a talented forward at the beginning of this week.

    Deng Deng's journey has been a long one. Born in Sudan, his family has lived in Egypt and Australia. He tried to enroll at LSU two years ago, but his college admissions were denied because of his transcripts. It forced the prospect to head to Lee College in Texas.

    Deng's interest in Nebraska comes to his close ties to assistant coach Chris Harriman. The native of Australia recruited Deng when at his previous stop of St. Louis.

  • Nebraska stops in to see Holtorf - Bryan Munson

    After Nebraska picked up commitments from in-state players Michael Decker and DaiShon Neal two weeks ago. The next question became could Nebraska offer any other in-state recruits? There haven't been any offers yet, but the Huskers are showing some interest.

    Adam Holtorf from Seward (Nebr.) is a player that has seen his stock sky rocket recently. The 6-foot-5 and 265-pound two-way lineman is holding offers from Kansas State, Ohio, Wyoming and others. Holtorf tweeted yesterday that offensive line coach Barney Cotton from Nebraska was by to see him:

    Holtorf told BigRedReport.com recently that he is planning on making it to a one-day camp in Lincoln and that the Huskers are looking at him to play on the offensive side of the ball and the Huskers could take two other players in the class to go along with previously mentioned Decker from Omaha (Nebr.) North and Christian Garylord from Baldwin City (Kans.).

  • KSU offers two Nebraska commits in the same day - Josh Harvey

    First it was Eric Lee, a few hours later, Kansas State offered fellow Nebraska commit Avery Anderson. The four-star confirmed it on his Twitter feed and Big Red Report got confirmation from Lee.

    Anderson is a four-star product and good friends with Lee. The Pine Creek high school (CO) product is the nation's No. 30 CB and committed to Nebraska during the Huskers junior day in early February.

  • Nebraska commit picks up another

    Nebraska commit and four-star product Eric Lee, from Valor Christian high school in Colorado, picked up an offer from Kansas State on Friday. The cornerback informed Big Red Report over a message on Twitter.

    Known for his closing speed and hip flexibility, Lee committed to Nebraska in early February.

  • Huskers offer 2016 RB

    Nebraska has made a new 2016 offer to South Lake Christian Academy (NC) running back Robert Washington, who has been offered by nearly everyone in the country.

    Washington ran for 2,512 yards and 28 touchdowns on 219 carries in 2013. He also had 12 catches for 267 yards.
