"I spoke to Coach Gill, Coach Bill Callahan and my mom and we decided on what we were going to do," Oduegwu said. "We're going to wait until I visit in December for my decision. I know I'm going to go there and my scholarship is still available and they want me badly."
Ishie is planning on taking a visit to Nebraska in December after the playoffs would surely be over for Denton Ryan. Denton Ryan expects to be playing way into November and is hopeful of another state title.
Last season Ishie was the co-Defensive MVP for Denton Ryan and on Saturday night he proved it was no fluke. "I think that I had 15-20 tackles. I played a lot more than I thought I would. It was like I was in on every tackle. There were a lot of big hits."
The last thing that Ishie wanted to put a hit on was a rumor that LSU isn't the only team to not accept his commitment to this point. "No, LSU was the first school that I called to commit to."
As for Ishie the season kicks off this Saturday at SMU in a battle between Denton Ryan and Highland Park.
