"We just got done with school on Friday. I'm planning on hit a couple (camps/combines/unofficial visits), but I am still undecided on where to," Johnson said.
"I am going to try and get down to Tennessee. I was supposed to go to Illinois yesterday, but I had a funeral to go to and I couldn't make it."
Johnson isn't going to these camps needing to impress a school to get them to offer. Johnson is already holding onto double-digit offers and Tennessee and Illinois are two of those teams. "I am up to about 18 offers right now. I haven't narrowed things down at all."
Besides not having thought about his favorites, Johnson hasn't set any official visits yet either. He did take in a couple of spring games and was impressed with what he saw, but he was looking for a little more at one of the games.
"I haven't set up any official visits. I have been to Notre Dame and Illinois for their spring games. Notre Dame was cool, but they didn't offer me. Illinois looked pretty good at their spring game. I think that Coach Zook is a good coach and that they are going to come up."
Johnson isn't set on just looking at the football team, facilities or coaching staff when it comes to making his decision. He is looking getting his degree first. "I am looking at the education first. I am planning on majoring in construction management."
Johnson is an aggressive lineman who just doesn't like to lose. He could play either guard or tackle at the next level. "My strengths are my speed and the way that I move. I'd also say it's my attitude on the field."
Johnson is holding an offer from Nebraska. Nebraska isn't out of the running for Johnson, but he is in need of information about the school, but is familiar with their history and traditions.
"I have an offer from Nebraska. I am not really familiar with them. I mean, I know that they have a good history, but I really don't know anything about them. I would like to get more information on them."
