Mansfield (Texas) High School's season is over. Adrian Taylor makes it very clear that the season for him and his team just didn't quite go to plan. The expectations were high for Taylor to make better on a very impressive junior year.
"Yeah, it's over," Taylor said. "It didn't end like we wanted. We were 5-5. We missed the playoffs."
"It wasn't like last year for me. I haven't seen my stats for this year, but I already know that they won't be as good as last year. I had 90 tackles and nine sacks last year. I just don't know how I did (this year)."
While Taylor's season didn't end up like he wanted it to it hasn't stopped the schools from ponying up offers. He is up to a pretty unbleieveable total offer number and has it narrowed down to a top six right now.
"I would say that I have 50+ offers. I have a couple now. It's UCLA, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Arizona and Texas Tech. I haven't taken any official visits yet. I am about ready to though."
Nebraska has come in and made an offer from Taylor. "Nebraska did offer me. They were the last school to offer me. It was probably a month ago or so. I don't have a very big interest in Nebraska."
Taylor has a couple of things that he is looking at when it comes to making his decision about where to go to school. "I want a school with a good drama department. I want it to be relatively close to home, but not too close."
