Paul would get the nod as the state's best

Last year Nebraska offered four in-state players and accepted commitments from all of them. There were about 10 high school players that accepted scholarships to play division one football, another handful that will be on their way to play division two ball and another handful that will be walking on at Nebraska or at other schools. There was a knock against "top" talent in-state last year, but there was a lot. This year there seems to be more top-talent as well as a lot.

It's always a bit of a guessing game, albeit an educated one, when it comes to pre-evaluation ratings. There are two players in the state of Nebraska that are already holding offers from the Cornhuskers and there could be as many as four more by the end of the year.
