Miscommunication all week for Cole and NU

Cole still eyeing Nebraska trip

One of the more exciting prospects in the Dallas metro-plex is William Cole. A true athlete, he lines up under center for Cedar Hill (Texas) and his team puts the ball in the best athlete's hands every play. At the next level Cole probably projects to playing wide receiver and doing special teams. Nebraska is really eyeing this Texas standout.

William Cole, a 5-foot-11 and 175 pound recruit from Cedar Hill (Texas), was supposed to make it up to Nebraska this past weekend after missing the previous week because of a funeral. Cole didn't make the official visit again to Lincoln.

"I didn't make the trip this weekend again," Cole said. "I don't know what happened, to be honest. It was just a mix-up in communications. I couldn't talk to him when he called. When I called him I guess that he couldn't answer."

"We both weren't communicating well. We just missed each other all week. I have to talk to him. I am going to call him one day this week and I am still planning on making a trip up there. I just need to set it up."

Cole will start looking for other weekend to potentially visit Nebraska. The pickins' are getting a little slim and there aren't any bye weeks coming up. He is looking at traveling early on Saturday to get up to Lincoln for any game.

"The Texas game at Nebraska looks pretty good. All of my games are on Friday except for one. That game is on a Saturday and I definitely can't go then. I really don't know."

There are three official visits that Cole knows that he will be taking right now. "I haven't set up any other visits yet. I will probably have to take one to Missouri and Texas A&M. Those are the two, plus Nebraska, that I will definitely be taking."
