Current situation poses major distraction

With the firing of Athletic Director Steve Pederson, the ties that bind the current coaches of the football team, have become somewhat strained. A struggling football team only makes the situation worse. So many questions loom for this football team, but more for the head man himself. Today, he tried to answer some of those questions about the team and even his own future.

As was initially reported by the Omaha World Herald, a press conference is to be held, where it is expected that former Husker Coach Tom Osborne will be named to a position within the athletic department.

The speculation is that he will be named the interim Athletic Director.
