On the list of Nebraska
's current commitments, the least likely to be looking around was probably Baker Steinkuhler
. The standout lineman from Lincoln (Nebr.) Southwest said decommitting hasn't crossed his mind.
"I'm 100% committed to Nebraska," Steinkuhler said. "There's really nothing else to say. I mean, I am not going anywhere."
Steinkuhler included that he didn't want to talk too much about things in Lincoln, but did include that he was paid a visit by some of the Nebraska staff earlier this week.
"Three coaches came for an in-home visit. It was Barney Cotton, Bo Pelini and Tom Osborne. That was earlier this week."
There are only a few families with more Nebraska lineage than the Steinkuhler's. Baker Steinkuhler's father, Dean, played offensive line for Nebraska and professionally. His older brother, Ty, is currently a defensive lineman at Nebraska. While Steinkuhler's name never came up as a recruit looking around, it's good to hear it straight from him that he's totally committed.
