The 5-7 guard from North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, erupted for career highs of 15 points, five three-pointers and seven assists to shoot the Huskers past Cal State Bakersfield on Dec. 13. She also played a career-high 34 minutes off the bench against the Roadrunners.
She followed up her Thursday night performance with 14 points, five assists and a career-best seven rebounds in Nebraska's 75-52 run past Long Beach State at the Walter Pyramid. She also knocked down a trio of three-pointers against the 49ers to close the trip by hitting 8-of-16 three-point attempts.
Burke and the Huskers will take the mid-week off from competition during Finals Week at the University of Nebraska, before returning to action at No. 19 Ohio State on Saturday, Dec. 22, at 11 a.m. (Central). The 9-2 Huskers hope to extend their current six-game winning streak when they battle the defending Big Ten champion Buckeyes (7-2).
