Huskers still in the mix

The Huskers went out and got an outside linebacker in Shawn Bodtmann. Nebraska was looking to take just one more and there is one in Texas that towards the top of a very short list. This particular player said that he has his eye on Nebraska and might be interested in taking an official visit to Nebraska this fall.

Nebraska has been showing tremendous interest in linebacker, Chris Williams. Williams, a 6-foot-1.5 and 223-pound linebacker from Abilene (Texas) had an amazing year last year for Abilene. "I had 90 tackles, 33 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery," Williams said.
