Good news for Gardiner

It just seems that every year Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial has one of the top cornerbacks in the year. It only seems that way because it's true. This year they have Desmond Gardiner that is garnering all of the attention. Already sitting on a double-digit offer total, Gardiner picked up his latest offer verbally last night from a team with ties to Memorial High School.

Coach Mike Ekeler is becoming a bit of a legend at Nebraska on the recruiting trail in such a short time. Last night, Desmond Gardiner called Nebraska and got some good news. "I called Nebraska," Gardiner said. "They offered me. I am really excited about it. It's one of the best defenses in the nation that just offered me."
