Nebraska is looking at the grim fact of losing three safties after next season. There is always a need to bring in guys, but the Huskers need to start to prepare their safety of the future starting next year. Dijon Washington could be that guy. Washington admits that the Huskers have been one of the teams that he has stayed in contact with the most.

Another standout player that Nebraska has offered is Dijon Washington (6-0/185). Dijon, nicknamed the missile, will be playing multiple positions for his Lawndale (Calif.) Leuzinger team in 2008, but all the schools to offer him to this point like him as a defensive back.
