Blue Springs High School is no stranger to all-star players. With that being said Head Coach Kelly…
Terry going a different direction
The rumors certainly didn't start today. They have been brewing for awhile: Keeston Terry no longer a Husker. That's been the speculation, some of it perhaps fueled on legitimate information, but much of it having to do with the fact that Terry, the son of two parents who both went to the University of Kansas, wasn't going to stay a Husker for long. When the Blue Springs wide receiver did make his decision to head to Nebraska, at the time at least, he was dead set, saying that Nebraska was where he wanted to be. That's what made Terry himself said made changing his mind so hard, as Terry texted us here at Big Red Report what changing his mind meant. "My decision had nothing to do with the people up in Lincoln or the coaching staff. There are great people up there with awesome support," he wrote. "I just felt more comfortable at Lawrence. "I was real torn between the two schools, but you can only choose one, and my heart was leading me a different direction." Terry went onto say that his desire not to let anyone down might have delayed what he felt was ultimately the correct decision. But he felt this was the time he had to make it, before he got into his final season of prep ball. With the loss of Terry, Nebraska now finds itself down one four-star, sitting on four commits. But the good news for Nebraska is that they could replace Terry as early as today or by this weekend as another Missouri native, 6-0, 180 lbs. Marquise Hill is visiting Nebraska today for "Junior Days." When we last talked to Hill, he said that he was a commit to Missouri, but was obviously exploring all his options. Stay tuned to Big Red Report as we will bring you the latest as we get it from today, and see if Nebraska can turn the recruiting tide back in their favor as they move toward Fall Camp.
