Offense ready for stiffest test of the year

Arkansas State and Florida Atlantic prove one thing: it's football season. But Virginia Tech is a whole different animal. Preparing for a road game, a hostile environment and the most athletic team thus far, that's a little different than the previous two opponents. But as Offensive Coordinator Shawn Watson said after practice today, it's football and they are getting ready to play.

Notes:

The health situation of the team is probably the best it's been all year as players such as junior offensive guard Keith Williams, senior offensive guard Andy Christensen, senior safety Matt O'Hanlon and junior tight end Dreu Young, all of whom missed some time during this season already, are all back at reportedly one hundred percent.

The team went full pads today as they probably will again tomorrow, and then go half pads for the remainder of the week.
