Reynolds: "I'm more suited for playing OLB because I play better in space. I have good strengh, quickness and speed, especially laterally. I can find the ball. If I could improve anything, it would be my straight-ahead forty speed."
Coach's comments: "He is very explosive and quick to the ball," said Bishop Gorman Head Coach David White. "Ryan moves so fast out of the gate--a real quick-twitch fiber guy. What Ryan could do to improve is work on becoming more aware of what's going on around him. Sometimes, he's so focused, he doesn't see what's happening in another spot or area. He's got to get his head on a swivel.
Scouting Report: This kid is built like a tank. Reynolds can also run in the 4.5 range and has incredible quickness. He recently ran two sub-4.0 shuttles, which for a prospect of his size is outstanding.
Another thing you quickly notice when watching him practice is his motor. For every drill and every rep he gives 100% effort every single time for the duration of practice. He doesn’t take anything for granted and wants to get better each and every day. Reynolds is a linebacker that has super reactions and the ability to read and react very quickly. Once he reads a play he explodes to the ball and he has a great burst from getting from point A to point B. Once he gets his hands on you you will be tackled. He is physical and very aggressive. Reynolds is also a versatile player. He is also a standout at fullback where he can run, block and catch.
