Thomsen will convert from linebacker to defensive end in 2006. As a junior, in nine games, Thomsen recorded 94 tackles (53 solo) and one fumble recovery. He sat out two games, as a junior, due to a broken wrist. He has a personal best of 168'11 and 50' in throwing the discus and shot put, respectively. As a sophmore, he was the state powerlifting champion in the 242lb weight division (he holds the state deadlift record at 515 lbs). |
