| Williams could end up at defensive end or tight end on the next level. He is very explosive and has the size that will translate very smoothly to the college game. He is explosive off of the edge, but also shows nice coverage skills as a linebacker. He is bigger than your typical "LEO" end, but has the skills to fill that role perfectly. |
| Biography: |
| K.J. Williams finished his junior season with 66 tackles and five sacks on defense. On offense he had three catches for 53 yards and one touchdown. Williams says he benches 315 pounds, squats 480 and vertical jumps 33".
Williams reports a 2.6 core GPA, but has not taken the SAT or ACT yet.
Williams: "I'm able to use my size well. I have good footwork and get to the backfield fast and cause problems. I'm physical and like to slam people to the ground, but I want to work on fighting off double teams and getting off blocks better. I also want to improve my blocking on offense."
Norman North High Head Coach Lance Manning- “K.J. is just a great athlete. He is very versatile and moves tremendously well for a player his size. I think ultimately defensive end will be his ticket on the next level.”
