Nelson is one of the top two-way players in the state of Louisiana.
(Sr.) He ran for over 1,100 yards and 22 TDs during 15 games.
(Jr.) Nelson finished his junior season with 1,069 yards and 15 touchdowns in his first year at running back. He also picked off a pair of passes from his safety spot.
(So.) He picked off eight passes.
