2007: Pierce appeared in eight games at wide receiver and on special teams, starting one game at Nebraska. He caught six passees for 59 yards and two touchdowns for the year.
Pierce saw the first action of his career against San Jose State and hauled in first career receptions against Missouri State, catching two balls for 19 yards.
He hauled in touchdown receptions in each of the final two games, including a 20-yarder against Missouri and a nine-yarder at Fresno State.
Pierce also scored on a blocked punt against Missouri as he rumbled five yards after scooping up the loose ball.
Pierce caught a season and career-high three passes for 20 yards at Fresno State. |
