Tide Did The Job Against Rebels Star

Though he ended the game with 15 points, for the majority of Alabama's 74-64 win over Ole Miss, Rebels leading scorer, Chris Warren, was inactive and ineffective. At various times, Bama used Charvez Davis, Trevor Releford, and Senario Hillman to guard Warren. The second leading scorer in the Southeastern Conference did not get on the board with a field goal until only 1:16 remained in the contest.

"He's a great player," Alabama Coach Anthony Grant said of Ole Miss guard Chris Warren. "He's one of the guys with the ability to score from the perimeter. He was a big focus for us, and I thought our guys did a good job of locking in, and defending him. Some of it was him, as well.
