Orlando, FL - For the third straight day, the Nebraska Cornhuskers practiced at a local Orlando high school in preparation for their upcoming matchup with South Carolina in the Capital One Bowl.

"We've had a good couple of days," Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini said. "We started a little slow today, but we picked it up as practice went on. We've had some good preparation so far, we've just got to keep going throughout the week."

Pelini also touched on the status of junior tight end Ben Cotton, who returned to practice this week after missing the final two games of the regular season.

"He's feeling a lot better," Pelini said. "Today was his best day. We probably gave him his biggest load to date today. I think he's doing well. He's a physical guy that has experience. He's a good football player. He's an excellent player for us, and I'm glad we have him back."
