Hilinski talked to new Colorado coach MacIntyre

Visalia, a Central California city of 120,000, will host the Cal State All-Star Game at its Mineral King Bowl tomorrow night. Select players from the state have been in town since as early as Tuesday, participating in a full slate of bowl game-like activities and practicing in separate groups at the College of the Sequoias.

Here are some quick observations from conversations with a few of the players Friday: Quarterback Kelly Hilinski (Notre Dame -- Sherman Oaks, CA) told me that he spoke with new Colorado head coach Mike MacIntyre this morning and came away very impressed with the fresh leadership in Boulder.
