A big rush game for Kalen Ballage of Falcon highlights this week's edition of Phenoms.

Kalen Ballage rushed for 329 yards keeping Falcon unbeaten in a 58-32 win over Rampart. On the season, for his currently 4-0 squad, Ballage is averaging over 200 rush yards a game at a clip of 14 yards a carry.

Quarterback A.J. Thompson of Montebello had two rushing scores including a crucial 52 yard scramble for a score that allowed Montebello to upset Denver South in 4A action. Beyond yesterday, Thompson, along with a group of senior receivers headed by Marquille Jones, have moved Montbello to an early 4-0 record.

In an offensive score fest that saw Lakewood and Fairview combine for over 500 passing yards and 88 points, the star may have been Fairview's 233 pound running back Daniel Hoskins who scored three times on six carries as the Knights defeated the Tigers 45-43. In the win Fairview receiver Sam Martin hauled in 11 catches.

Jay MacIntyre went 5-5 passing, four of which went for scores, as 4A #1 Monarch blitzed Kennedy 56-6.

Another perfect day passing came from Lutheran junior QB James Willis of Parker, Colorado who was 5-5 for 245 yards and three scores as Lutheran defeated Summit 48-2.

Zane Lindsey of Silver Creek averaged 28 yards a reception on seven receptions including a 91 yarder as Silver Creek handled Holy Family 45-14 to remain unbeaten.

Longmont truly ran wild over Mountain View in a 52-35 win posting over 500 rush yards. Sophomore Elijah Sullivan had a ridiculous 250 yards on seven carries.

Cherokee Trail QB Aric Johnson posted over 300 yards of total offense throwing for over 250 yards and three scores as the Cougars bested previously unbeaten Regis 31-17 Saturday. Johnson, in the final minutes of the game, guided Cherokee Trail on two scoring drives with timely scrambles and throws. For the season Johnson is
completing 75% of this passes.

Dakota Ridge signal caller Braxton Thais threw for 314 yards and three scores as his Eagles defeated George Washington 49-14.

6-0 205 pound sophomore QB Keegan Wentz of unbeaten Buena Vista had four scores in a 46-0 win over John Mall.

Junior Erik Taylor of Castle View rushed for 205 yards as the Sabercats defeated Rock Canyon 48-21.

Senior Aaric Witt of Eaglecrest threw for three scores and added two more on the ground as the Raptors beat Fossil Ridge 49-7
