Nebraska MLB commit Jaevon Walton was the rock of the 2013 Edna Karr defense, wreaking havoc and destruction at every turn. The 6-0, 230-pound Nebraska commit earned first-team all-state honors following his team's run to the Class 4A finals. Jaevon Walton committed to the three-time defending New Orleans Bowl champion Ragin' Cajuns near the end of summer, but when new BCS offers from the likes of Missouri and Nebraska later came his way, Walton reexamined his options and decided to cast his lot with Nebraska following an official visit in early November.
