Bynum is an intriguing '17 WR to watch

We've talked a lot about the young talent on Anaheim (Calif.) Servite's roster and especially at the skill positions. One receiver to watch closely over the coming years will be sophomore standout Terrell Bynum.

At a recent Servite practice, 2017 receiver Terrell Bynum really jumped out to us. He's an athletic kid with body control, natural pass catcher and the game just looks easy for him. He's very smooth and fluid in his movement and shows a nice burst after the catch. With the depth Servite has at receiver, he may not have a huge impact this season but his upside is tremendous.

On the recruiting front, Bynum already has a handful of schools watching him closely.

"I was at Bosco last year and schools were already talking to me a little," Bynum said. "They want to see varsity film so hopefully my recruitment takes off this year. It's all in Gods hands so I'm just going to work hard and hopefully a few schools will offer me."

Bynum attended a few summer camps and schools from all over the West and beyond are showing interest.

"I have letters from USC, California, Oregon, Nebraska, Miami, Utah and Arizona State," Bynum said. "I camped with ASU and they said they really liked me a lot and are just waiting on film. I also did Satellite Camps with Cal, Oregon State and Nevada. The Oregon State/Nevada camp was a combined one and I did really well there too.

"USC and Cal have been talking to me for a long time, since I was at Bosco last year. They're waiting on varsity film this year as well so right now, I'm just focusing on my season. I know if I do well, the colleges will take notice. We have a great quarterback with Travis Waller and a lot of talent so I'm excited to get going here."
