Louisville commit to visit Nebraska

Nebraska is looking to add a quarterback to the class of 2015 and a player like Lamar Jackson really fits the style. Jackson committed recently, but the Huskers will get a visit later this month.

Boynton Beach (Flor.) Boynton Beach Community quarterback Lamar Jackson is set to take an official visit soon. The three-star, dual-threat quarterback will check out a Big Ten school.

"I will visit Nebraska," Jackson said. "I am going to take an official visit to Nebraska for their game against Miami in a few weeks."

This will be a return trip for Jackson to Lincoln. The athletic quarterback was impressed with what he saw the first time around at Nebraska.

"I went there for a visit this summer with my seven-on-seven coach. I really liked the atmosphere when I was there and liked what I saw."

Jackson says that this trip to Lincoln will be about the game environment. He would also like to see the offense up-close and talk to the Nebraska staff about how he fits. He has heard some things about gameday weekends in Lincoln.

"I want to see a game there at Nebraska," Jackson said. "I want to see the offense and see how I can fit. I have heard that they have sold out every game there for years."

Jackson recently made a commitment. That being said he will make this trip to Nebraska and still considers himself committed. "I am committed to Louisville, but they are OK with me taking this visit.
