'Zona WR and Beaver target bides his time

ON THE FIELD, Eric Hagg out of Glendale, Ariz., has been surging of late. The Ironwood High wide receiver/defensive back's recruitment hasn't really shifted into overdrive, though. That might be ready to chance shortly. Oregon State is one of the three offers for the 6-3, 195-pound Phoenix-area playmaker.

Most players with multiple offers have started to narrow things down at this point in the recruiting year. Hagg, however, hasn't been on any official visits and he doesn't have any scheduled. Why? The rules state before a prospect can take an official visit, he needs to have taken the SAT or ACT test. Hagg (6-3, 195, 4.48) said he'll take the SAT for the first time Nov. 4.
